Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Process Assistant (Full-time) for Last Mile operations in the Rural Super Rural group. The position includes in-role training of 5+ weeks at an off-site location about 50+ miles from the home site, with travel booked and paid by Amazon.

The role centers on labor allocation, leading meetings, assigning duties, and ensuring safety and production targets. Starting pay is 23 USD per hour, with shift differentials and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• High school or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for long shifts.
• Work 40 hours/week with overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Track and report ATS/labor hours.
• Occasionally assist with production duties, train associates and verify SOP compliance.
• Ensure area performance through tracking and reporting metrics.
• Independently assess associate work performance and provide feedback.
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Maintain understanding of workflow and daily production goals.
• Review and update SOPs as required.
• Ensure work areas stay clean and properly equipped.
• Identify and address safety hazards and participate in safety initiatives.
• Coach associates on safe work practices.
• Report all injuries timely per policies.
• Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers.
