Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Iowa to lead a team of hourly employees, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while delivering on customer delivery promises. You will mentor staff, drive productivity plans, and coordinate with Safety, HR, and Loss Prevention to meet business objectives.

This role requires lifting up to 49 pounds, long shifts, and a flexible schedule including weekends or overnights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly employees to safety, quality, attendance and performance.
• Mentor and motivate your team during shifts.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and overnight shifts.
