Job summary

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced analytics professional to identify, develop and integrate solutions that improve last mile efficiency. You will lead data-driven initiatives from concept through execution, partnering with operations and finance to drive measurable improvements.

The role requires strong data mining, modeling and hands-on experience with Excel, SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau.

Qualifications

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
Experience with Excel.

Responsibilities

Own the development and maintenance of new and existing solution artifacts focused on driving efficiency via analysis, metrics and reporting dashboards.
Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPIs, automated reporting and process improvements.
Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible format.
Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.
Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.
Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated systems and dashboards to support business needs.
