Job summary

Yzer is seeking a Hub Manager to oversee daily hub operations for last-mile delivery. Lead drivers and staff, manage routing, dispatch, and performance metrics in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality. Expect on-site leadership 6 hours daily with potential remote hours for admin tasks.

Hours are 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, with on-site requirement and occasional remote work.

Qualifications

3+ years of operations, logistics, or transportation management experience.
Experience working with Independent Contractors, vendors, or 1099 delivery partners.
Understanding of last-mile routing, delivery operations, and DOT/OSHA guidelines.
Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak seasons.
Strong analytical abilities and comfort managing KPIs and operational data.

Responsibilities

Manage daily hub operations, including inbound package receipt, sortation, routing, staging, dispatch, and end-of-day reconciliation.
Ensure packages are processed accurately and dispatched on schedule to meet delivery expectations and SLAs.
Oversee the duty assignment process while maintaining compliance with IC contract guidelines and business rules.
Maintain operational readiness, hub organization, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Lead and manage warehouse staff; hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate performance.
Address employee concerns, enforce policies, and administer corrective actions when necessary.
