Stellar in Garner, IA is seeking a Laser Unloader / Utility Operator to safely unload laser-cut parts, sort and stage materials, and perform quality checks to maintain production flow. You will identify parts, handle them properly, assist operators with loading and unloading, and help with packaging for shipping as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and manufacturing experience is a plus; candidates should be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced team

  • Remove finished parts and skeletons from laser cutting tables safely and efficiently.
  • Sort, count, and stage parts according to work orders and production requirements.
  • Inspect parts for quality issues such as incorrect dimensions, burrs, dross, scratches, or damage.
  • Complete required production paperwork and maintain accurate part counts.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment as required.
  • Deliver material and completed parts to designated work centers.
  • Assist laser operators with loading, unloading, and setup activities.
  • Remove scrap materials and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Support production needs in other departments as assigned.

  • Communicate production issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors and team members.
