Job summary

Bombardier US Aerostructures is seeking an Engr Methods (Laser Tracker) to determine requirements and implement new manufacturing equipment, while developing long-range strategies for processes and facility layout. You will monitor workflow, analyze feasibility, and draft manufacturing documents to keep production efficient.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area.
• Working knowledge of Project Management principles.

Responsibilities

• Determines requirements for and implements new manufacturing equipment.
• Develops long range strategies for manufacturing processes and facility layout.
• Monitors project workflow and adjusts personnel tasks to support project activities.
• Analyzes feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production.
• Drafts the necessary working and repair documents.
• Analyzes equipment and workstation production capacity.
• Analyzes requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR.
• Assists in revision of shop floor layout and new manufacturing equipment requirements.
• Assists with validating and approving the compliance of engineering drawings/documents, tool design concept, etc.
• Prepares manufacturing manpower estimates.
• Creates overall Numerical Control Manufacturing Plans.
• Develops and maintains Methods procedures.
