Job summary

Ace Precision in Wisconsin is seeking a Laser Technician to operate CO2, Yag, or Flat Cut laser equipment to machine parts. Join a growing team supporting aerospace and defense sectors at either Oconomowoc or Menomonee Falls locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience. You will perform setup, monitor operations, inspect parts, and maintain tight tolerances while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; minimum two years related experience or training.
• Ability to read sketches and setup sheets.
• Strong attention to dimensional accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Works from sketches, setup sheets, and related documents.
• Starts and observes laser operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Recognizes and reports process variations, operational sequences, and dimensional and finish deviations.
• Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications through use of various inspection measuring equipment, including micrometers, pin gages, and verniers.
• Deburrs parts as necessary.
