Ace Precision Machining in Wisconsin is seeking a driven Multi-Axis Laser Technician to operate state-of-the-art laser systems for cutting, drilling, and marking precision aerospace components. You will read engineering drawings, monitor quality, and collaborate with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Experience with laser systems or CNC background preferred.
• Ability to interpret sketches and meet tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor multi-axis laser machines for cutting, drilling, marking, or trimming sheet metal.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, routers, and process control sheets.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and CMM reports.
• Adjust machine parameters, align optics, load programs, and verify beam quality.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on lasers, motion systems, and fixturing.
• Maintain records and follow aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP).
