Job summary

State Steel Supply Co. is seeking a Processing Specialist / Laser Table Operator for the day shift at our Sioux City facility.

The role involves setting up and processing work orders on a Laser Table, loading and unloading material with an overhead crane, and maintaining the work area with attention to safety and quality. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of laser table operation experience, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• One to two years of laser table operation experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 18+ years old.
• Basic math skills and basic reading/writing.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read and utilize a tape measure for accurate measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and process work orders using a Laser Table Machine.
• Load and unload material with an overhead crane.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep the work area clean.
• Follow specifications to cut material according to work orders.
