Job summary

Arete in Niwot, CO is seeking an Electromechanical Testing Technician to assemble, calibrate, and test AIRTRAC lasers. You will work with a team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to design, develop, test, and produce lasers, assembling systems and aligning them on test benches in a full-time, non-exempt role at our Niwot office.

You will set up and operate complex optical equipment, run environmental screening tests, and thoroughly document results to support laser alignment,

Qualifications

• Familiarity with electronic test equipment and measurement
• Minimum 2 years of experience or technical degree
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Detail oriented and safety conscious

Responsibilities

• Assemble laser systems and test benches
• Align lasers and calibrate production lasers
• Conduct environmental screening tests on laser equipment
• Operate optical equipment and document test results
• Support laser alignment, fabrication and performance measurements
