Job summary

A leading manufacturer in photonics is seeking a Technician Level II to assemble and align laser systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optics and electronics, with at least 4 years of experience. Responsibilities include assembling intricate components, supporting R&D activities, and managing shipping and receiving tasks. This position offers a pay range of $24.00 - $30.00 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in optics or electronics industry.
• Proficiency in working with computers and Microsoft Office required.
• Familiarity with optical fiber splicing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and align laser systems according to instructions.
• Perform electronic soldering and crimping tasks.
• Operate optical test instruments after training.
• Prepare products for shipment and maintain inventory records.
• Assist in R&D activities under senior staff guidance.
