Orion Talent is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of laser repair technicians in a fast-paced repair center. You will oversee daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and partner with engineering to resolve complex electro-mechanical and laser system issues.

The role emphasizes mentoring technicians, maintaining high quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction while managing documentation and spare parts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience servicing lasers, photonics equipment, or other sophisticated capital equipment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electro-mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of laser repair technicians in a fast-paced repair center.
• Oversee daily repair operations, performance metrics, and workflow priorities.
• Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical and laser system issues alongside engineering teams.
• Ensure repaired equipment meets quality standards and customer expectations.
• Manage repair documentation, warranty activities, and spare parts inventory.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Serve as the technical expert for assigned products while supporting customer escalations.
