Job summary

Orion Talent is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of laser repair technicians in a fast-paced repair center. You will oversee daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and partner with engineering to resolve complex electro-mechanical and laser system issues.

The role emphasizes mentoring technicians, maintaining high quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction while managing documentation and spare parts.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience servicing lasers, photonics equipment, or other sophisticated capital equipment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with electro-mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical expert for assigned products while supporting customer escalations.

Are you an experienced technical leader with a background in field service, manufacturing engineering, electronics repair, or advanced capital equipment? We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of highly skilled technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing sophisticated laser systems while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
