Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Michigan is seeking a supervisor to lead Capital Equipment and Laser Optimization projects in the Laser Department. The role defines project timing and performance costs and directs revisions to project scope as needed.

You will interface with other management staff, train technicians, complete SPC charts, ensure MIOSHA safety compliance, and stay current with laser technology to keep the plant competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or five+ years related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; basic Microsoft Project; strong written/email communication.
• Experience with QMS and QAD databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects on new equipment in Laser Department.
• Define project timing and performance costs.
• Direct and approve revisions to project scope and timing.
• Interface projects with other management staff.
• Complete SPC charts as needed.
• Train technicians and maintenance on troubleshooting processes.
• Eliminate laser quality spills and keep up with new laser tech.
