Salary Range: $18.00 To $22.00 Annually

About the Role:

The Laser Lead is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing laser operations within a manufacturing or production environment to ensure precision, efficiency, and safety. This position requires leading a team of laser technicians and operators, coordinating workflow, and maintaining high standards of quality control. The Laser Lead will collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to optimize laser processes and troubleshoot technical issues. Additionally, the role involves training and mentoring staff on laser equipment usage, safety protocols, and best practices. Ultimately, the Laser Lead ensures that laser operations contribute effectively to the overall production goals while adhering to all regulatory and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial laser equipment in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Proven experience in supervising or leading a team in a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of laser safety standards and operational procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CNC laser systems and programming.
  • Ability to read Blue Prints
  • Experience using CAD/CAM software for laser process planning.
  • Basic metal working background
