In this role, you will program, set up, and operate CNC/laser cutting equipment to produce high-precision parts from 2D/3D drawings, ensuring tight tolerances and consistent quality.

You will leverage CAD/CAM software, read blueprints and GD&T, and work with engineering and production to optimize nesting, cycle times, and process reliability while maintaining a safe,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Laser Programmer or CNC Operator.
• Hands-on CAD/CAM proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Trumpf TruTops, Bystronic, or Sigmanest.
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and technical schematics.
• Strong math skills and use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Understanding of material properties (steel, aluminum, stainless steel).

Responsibilities

• Programming: Create and optimize G-code/laser programs from 2D/3D drawings and CAD files.
• Setup & parameter tuning: Calibrate laser machines and set parameters (power, speed, gas pressure, focal length).
• Operation & quality control: Run production batches, inspect first-article parts, and perform precision measurements.
