Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Laser Programmer or CNC Operator in manufacturing.
• Hands-on proficiency with CAD/CAM software and reading 2D/3D drawings.
• Ability to set up machines and adjust parameters for different materials.
• Strong math skills and experience with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Programming: Create and optimize G-code/laser programs from CAD files.
• Setup & Parameter Tuning: Calibrate lasers and set power, speed, and gas.
• Operation & Quality Control: Run batches and inspect first articles.
• Process Optimization: Reduce scrap, improve nesting and cycle times.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose errors and perform routine upkeep.
• Safety & Workplace: Maintain clean area and follow safety protocols.
