Job summary

State Steel is seeking a Day Shift Laser Operator to set up and process work orders on a Laser Table Machine. You will load and unload material using an overhead crane, perform routine maintenance, and maintain a clean work area.

The role requires basic math, literacy, and tape measure reading skills, with 1–2 years of laser table experience. We offer an on-site position with a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of laser table operation experience.
• Basic math and literacy skills are required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read measurements.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Valid driver's license and 18+ years old.
• Experience with preventative maintenance basics is a plus.
