Job summary

Orchid MPS Holdings, LLC in Arab, Alabama (near Huntsville) is seeking an Operations Technician I, Laser Processing to support production of precision laser parts. You will follow SOPs, assist in laser and CAD/CAM tasks, and help implement improvements on the shop floor.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with no prior experience required (preferred) and manufacturing experience welcome. Competitive benefits are offered in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required (preferred).
• No previous work experience required (preferred).
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain setup sheets and tooling/fixture sheets for Laser programs.
• Assist in generating laser programs and basic CAD/CAM tasks.
• Identify and report equipment issues and safety concerns.
• SupportLean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives.
• Follow procedures and quality instructions to ensure product quality.
