Responsibilities

• Performs all set up and operation of equipment in the laser cell, including proper settings for the laser machine and placement of raw material.
• Removes and segregates finished parts from the tower system and prepares kits for welding.
• Writes and manages programs in laser to manufacture various parts.
• Evaluates laser cut edges and adjusts machines for optimal edge quality.
• Operates press brake using QA tools and reads blueprints with precision measurements.
• Reports defects and non-conforming materials to supervisor.
• Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs; collaborates with engineering to fix issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
