Job summary

Koozie-Group in Red Wing, MN is seeking a Laser Operator to efficiently run laser engraving machines in the printing process and prepare items for the next routing step. You will set up and adjust YAG and CO2 lasers, enter correct dialog values for speed, frequency, and passes, and verify that only quality products move forward.

This is 1st shift (Mon–Thu 5:00am–3:00pm) with pay of $18.00/hr; manufacturing experience is preferred and the role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to read instructions and perform basic math.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate YAG and CO2 lasers.
• Enter speed, frequency, and passes accurately for each product.
• Determine artwork size and input into the system.
• Set up and adjust machines for proper operation.
• Ensure proper supplies and quality standards before shipping.
• Read manufacturing orders to follow specifications.
• Change tooling as needed for different products.
• Package products for shipping following correct box sizes.
• Report process completion for each order.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
