Job summary

Morton Industries is seeking a dedicated operator for CO2 laser equipment in a full-time Texas facility. You will program and operate laser devices, set up tooling, and ensure parts meet specifications. Strong attention to detail and safety are required.

Responsibilities include aligning machine axes, coordinating with supporting equipment, and performing preventative maintenance. Travel for training may be required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven ability to program and operate CO2 laser equipment and associated tooling.
  • Ability to follow procedures, read layouts and prints, and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, check out programming, and operate CO2 laser devices.
  • Program machine axes and coordinate with support equipment.
  • Diagnose and adjust changes using measuring tools and documentation.
  • Ensure correct parameters, maintain preventative maintenance, and clean optics.
  • Follow production schedules and travel for training as needed.
