AAI/Spalding is seeking a Laser Operator in Jefferson, Iowa, to operate a Class 4 Fiber Tube Laser for material fabrication. This full-time role requires the ability to read engineering drawings and includes excellent benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities for skill advancement.

The operator will perform diagnostics, monitor machine operations, and maintain work area cleanliness while ensuring production demands are met efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide various units of measure.
• Must pass pre-employment skills testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 4 Fiber Tube Laser to fabricate material.
• Process cut work orders on tube laser to meet demand.
• Monitor machine operations and inspect materials for defects.
• Perform machine diagnostics and scheduled maintenance.
• Load/unload materials and change tooling as necessary.
• Accurately report labor performed daily.
