Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Laser Operator to cut parts on laser equipment, verify quality, and label finished pieces. The role requires a high school diploma and prior laser experience is preferred. You will work Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:30pm, in a safety-conscious environment that values detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with laser operations preferred.
• Physically capable, safety-minded and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and lifting devices.
• Detail-oriented with ability to inspect material quality using measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser equipment to cut parts and manage finished pieces.
• Ensure proper nozzle values, material checks and cut quality.
• Identify and label parts from cutting tables and perform inspections.
• Maintain safety, accuracy and productivity on the floor.
• Adhere to schedule: Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:30pm.
