The ideal candidate will have over two years of CNC operation experience, including the ability to interpret blueprints and perform routine machine maintenance.

Job Summary

The Second Shift Laser Operator is responsible for operating a state‑of‑the‑art CNC laser cutting machine to produce high‑precision steel and armor plate components. Ideal candidates have experience with CNC operation and take pride in maintaining high tolerances.

What You’ll Do

• Operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting equipment to cut armor plate according to specifications.
• Load and unload heavy materials using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure high‑tolerance accuracy.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Verify material thickness and grade before beginning the cutting process.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
