Job summary

Impact Partners Group in Berlin, CT is seeking a Laser Process Engineer – NPI to lead New Product Introduction efforts for laser-based programs including cutting, welding, and marking. The role requires coordinating with R&D and production teams to ensure successful hand-off and compliant qualification across IQ/OQ/PQ and PPAP procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Laser Cutting, Welding, and Marking.
• Experience with Medical PPAP procedures.
• Experience launching high-volume production.

Responsibilities

• Drive and/or support all aspects of New Product Introduction related to Laser processes, equipment, and products.
• Drive and/or support new program launches and the successful transition to Production/Sustaining teams.
• Ensure all Laser processes for new programs meet established requirements prior to transfer from NPI to Production.
• Develop process development documents, protocols, reports, setup sheets, parameter sheets.
