Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Technical Leader, Laser NPI in Mountain View or Milpitas, CA to own the design, manufacture, integration, validation and qualification of lasers and amplifiers across business verticals. You will lead a team of engineers to transition lasers from development to production and develop engineering requirements to ensure performance, yield and cost targets are met.

This role emphasizes DFx and test strategy to enable reliable high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading semiconductor laser teams.
• Experience with NPI, III-V design, process, vendor management, qualification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap, execution, validation and delivery for laser and amplifier products across verticals.
• Lead a team of engineers to transition lasers from development to production.
• Develop engineering requirements ensuring performance, yield and cost targets.
• Lead integration of III-V devices into products and packaging strategies.
• Define test strategies and DFx methodologies across R&D to production.
