Job summary

Lennox International in Baywood, NY is hiring a Laser Machine Operator to run the laser cutter, set up programs, and ensure accurate cutting of sheet metal parts.

You will read blueprints, adjust focal points, inspect material quality, and work with other teams to maintain production flow. The role requires 4pm–3am shifts, English literacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred; laser operator experience a plus.
• Ability to read/interpret basic blueprints or technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate the laser machine and run cutting programs.
• Select proper cutting programs and fixtures; set stop location and focus.
• Correct and clear laser errors; report defects to supervisor.
• Use drawings/blueprints to verify cuts; lift and handle materials.
• Pack, label, and prepare parts for shipment; support other areas when needed.
