Vertiv is seeking a production/operator to set up and run CNC laser cutting for sheet metal parts. You will read blueprints, load materials, monitor operations for quality and efficiency, and inspect parts with precision measuring tools. Maintain equipment, adjust settings, and follow all safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and with a team are essential to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment preferred.
• Experience in metal fabrication is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines (fiber or CO₂) to cut sheet metal components.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Load and unload raw materials onto the laser bed.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laser equipment.
• Adjust machine settings (speed, power, focus) to optimize cutting performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per 5S standards.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals.

• 1-3 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment preferred.
• Experience in metal fabrication, especially with cabinets or rack systems, is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC controls/software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
