Vertiv is seeking a CNC Laser Cutter to set up and run laser cutting equipment on sheet metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints, load materials, monitor operations, and ensure precision with calipers and gauges.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment preferred.
• Experience in metal fabrication, especially cabinets or rack systems, is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC controls/software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut sheet metal components.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Load and unload raw materials onto the laser bed.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure specifications are met.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laser equipment.
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, power, and focus to optimize cutting performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
