Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is seeking graduate-level students or recent graduates in electrical, mechanical, optical engineering and related fields to support projects across the Materials Engineering Division. Roles are full-time and on-site, with collaboration among engineers, scientists and staff.

Responsibilities include conducting research, providing technical support, presenting results, and attending seminars.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to access LLNL per NDAA rules.
• Current status as a continuing student or recent graduate in relevant engineering or science fields.
• Demonstrated ability to apply engineering/scientific principles to problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical/research support across multiple engineering/science domains.
• Conduct research projects under limited direction and supervise others as needed.
• Present results to the research group and communicate technical concepts.
