Job summary

CPV Manufacturing is seeking a material marking associate to support marking of production parts and assist with material handling and packaging tasks. You will set up, load, and unload parts for Dot Peen and laser marking to meet scheduled due dates while upholding quality standards.

You will work closely with Inspection for quality reviews, read blueprints to locate marking areas, and cross-train in packaging, assembly, and testing.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be detail oriented and possess high regard for quality and workmanship.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• Ability to prioritize assignments.
• Able to follow written and oral assignments.
• Ability to read blue prints.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Setup, load and unload all production parts for Dot Peen and/or laser marking as required to achieve scheduled due dates while maintaining all quality and production standards
• Review paperwork to ensure parts are marked to correct standards
• Work closely with Inspection for quality review and adjust as needed
• Read drawings to determine location of marking on part
• Cross train in other areas, including packaging, assembly, and testing
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures, complies with quality regulations
• Accomplish manufacturing and organization mission by completing other related tasks as requested
