Job summary

CPV Manufacturing, an industrial valve manufacturer in Kennett Square, seeks a Production Marking Associate to join our team. You will mark production material using dot peen and laser processes and support related material handling and packaging tasks in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of related experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Detail oriented with a focus on quality and workmanship.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written/oral instructions.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load and unload production parts for marking to meet due dates.
• Review paperwork to ensure correct marking.
• Collaborate with Inspection for quality review and adjust as needed.
• Read drawings to locate marking on parts.
• Cross-train in packaging, assembly and testing.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.
• Complete other related tasks as assigned.

Marking Associate

FullTime PA, Kennett Square, PA, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Annually

CPV Manufacturing is an industrial valve manufacturer located in Kennett Square and we are looking for a Production Marking Associate to join our growing team. This position is primarily responsible for marking production material and assisting with other material handling and packaging functions as needed. Our climate controlled facility, generous paid time off plan, health benefits, and education reimbursement are only some of the great things we offer our team! Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 3:15pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setup, load and unload all production parts for Dot Peen and/or laser marking as required to achieve scheduled due dates while maintaining all quality and production standards
• Review paperwork to ensure parts are marked to correct standards
• Work closely with Inspection for quality review and adjust as needed
• Read drawings to determine location of marking on part
• Cross-train in other areas, including packaging, assembly, and testing
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures, complies with quality regulations
• Accomplish manufacturing and organization mission by completing other related tasks as requested

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This position is primarily on the Assembly floor where it can be noisy at times
• Must be able to wear proper PPE - safety toe shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection
• Ability to move around the manufacturing floor as well as sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
