Job summary

Leonardo Electronics US Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Assembly Operator for the second shift in Tucson, AZ. You will perform die attach and mechanical assembly of laser diode devices and operate LIV and burn-in equipment.

Responsibilities include CMM inspection, data entry into manufacturing systems and Excel, and updating process documentation. Prior one-year assembly experience and PPE use in a cleanroom are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Attention to detail and mechanical dexterity required.
• 1 year mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Able to work in 10,000 class clean room wearing PPE.
• Proficient with MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word and PowerPoint desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high-power laser diode devices.
• Perform die attach and mechanical assembly.
• Operate LIV test and burn-in equipment.
• Use CMM and microscopy for inspection.
• Enter data into manufacturing interfaces and Excel.
• Troubleshoot yield issues and notify supervisor.
• Update documentation to keep processes controlled.
