Job summary

ao-inc is seeking a Semiconductor Laser Design and Modeling Engineer in Sugar Land, Texas. The role involves designing and simulating high-speed semiconductor lasers, working closely with various engineering teams to optimize laser designs.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics or related fields; or M.S. with 5+ years relevant experience.
• 2+ years of work experience in semiconductor laser design preferred.
• Mastery of Matlab or other programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Create high-speed or high-power laser device modeling and simulations.
• Design process flow and photomask with fabrication engineers.
• Coordinate design verification with multiple teams.
