AOI is seeking a Semiconductor Laser Design and Modeling Engineer based in Sugar Land, Texas. Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related fields; or M.S. with 5+ years relevant experience in laser design.
• 2+ years experience in semiconductor laser design preferred.
• Mastery of Matlab or other programming languages required.

Responsibilities

• Create high-speed or high-power laser device models and simulations.
• Coordinate design verification with multiple engineering teams.
• Analyze experimental results to enhance designs.
