Job summary

MPE, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Laser Cutting Support Team Member to join our sheet metal fabrication team. You will separate and clean parts cut by laser and turret machines, verify dimensions and quality against standards, and prepare parts for the next production step.

This entry point is ideal for hands-on, detail-oriented individuals who want to grow. Shift available: Monday–Friday 2:30pm–11:00pm.

Qualifications

• Read work orders, work instructions, and mechanical drawings.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Use basic math to work with dimensions and measurements.
• Follow written, verbal, and diagram instructions.
• Work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Shake out and grind parts for medical carts, enclosures, and related products using specified tools.
• Verify parts against quality standards and other operators' work when assigned.
• Read mechanical drawings, including standard and metric dimensions.
• Package and crate completed product.
• Train other team members as directed by the Team Leader.
• Follow all safety requirements including proper PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
