Job summary

CompX National in Mauldin, SC is seeking a Laser Machine Operator to set up, adjust and run our laser cutting equipment on the second shift. You will read and interpret prints, edit programs per job order, load/unload materials and monitor operation for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities also include measuring critical dimensions, ensuring parts stay within tolerance, performing routine maintenance, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following all quality procedures to support

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience operating laser cutting equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust and operate Laser cutting machine.
Edit programs per job order.
Read and interpret prints and work instructions.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely and efficiently.
Monitor machine operation to ensure quality, accuracy, and production efficiency.
Measure and verify dimensions using various tools and ensure tolerance.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment including cleaning and lubrication.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
Follow quality procedures and processes.
Perform other machining jobs if necessary.
