Responsibilities include day-to-day laser cutting, quality checks, material stock monitoring, tool maintenance, and collaboration with engineering. Training will be provided for the right candidate with mechanical aptitude and reliability.

Qualifications

• Solid computer skills; able to operate a Windows PC and learn new software.
• Strong math skills (shop math) required.
• Able to use a tape measure in both metric and inches/feet.
• High mechanical aptitude and competence with basic hand tools.
• Coordinated with good fine motor skills and dexterity.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Organized with good time management; works well alone or in a team.
• Minimum 1 year experience with CNC laser cutter or CNC machining center.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutter to process steel parts and ensure on-time completion.
• Wear safety glasses, steel-toed boots and follow shop rules.
• Process internal cut orders for manufacturing and engineering departments.
• Follow scheduling of jobs and maintain laser cutting machine.
• Operate forklift if required.
• Check parts for quality and accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels for materials and consumables.
• Organize and clean the laser cutting area and assist other departments as needed.
