Job summary

Mitchell Equipment Corporation in Dundee, MI is seeking a full-time laser cutting operator. The ideal candidate has good math and computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail; training provided.

You will run an enclosed laser cutter to cut steel parts, ensure on-time completion, check quality, and coordinate with engineering. Forklift operation and repetitive tasks may be required; on-site daytime, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machine to process parts and meet schedules
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
• Follow shop rules and wear safety gear
• Process internal cut orders for manufacturing and engineering
• Coordinate with engineering and other departments
• Monitor stock levels for materials and consumables
• Organize and clean laser cutting area
