Modine Manufacturing Company in Lexington, VA is seeking a Laser Operator to set up, operate, and maintain laser cutting machines to process materials per specifications. This in-person role runs on 2nd shift (3 PM–11 PM) with a starting pay of $25.18/hr plus a $1.00/hr shift differential.

After 9 months, the pay rises to $27.97/hr. Responsibilities include machine setup, operation per blueprints, quality checks, safety adherence, and diligent documentation of downtime and output.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and safety practices.
• Relevant technical certification or training is preferred.

Position Description

The Laser Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machines to process various materials according to specifications. This role involves ensuring high-quality production standards and adhering to safety protocols.

• Location: In Person; 43 Douglas Way, Natural Bridge, VA 24579
• Hours: 2nd Shift: 3 PM to 11 PM
• Pay: Starting Rate is $25.18/hour; after 9 months the pay rate will increase to $27.97
• Shift Differential: 2nd Shift is $1.00/hour
