Job summary

MGM Products, Inc is seeking a Manufacturing Laser Operator in Henderson, NC. The role involves operating the CNC laser line, reading blueprints, and stacking finished sheets. You will lift up to 160 lbs, set up equipment, and ensure parts meet specifications on a daily basis.

The job requires attention to detail, problem solving, teamwork, and the ability to work independently. Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM; benefits include 401K, dental, life, medical, vision, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical documentation (blueprints, drawings)
• Lift and handle heavy parts safely (5×10 sheets, ~160 lbs)
• Operate CNC laser to cut parts from metal
• Read work orders and prints to determine specs and tolerances
• Maintain high productivity and meet daily goals
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping on equipment
• Operate forklift when required
• Learn and troubleshoot machine issues as they arise

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment to cut sheet metal per blueprints or specs.
• Read prints and production schedules to determine quantities and tolerances.
• Measure output to verify conformance to specs with accuracy.
• Maintain productivity and meet daily targets.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Load coils and cut to required measurements for the laser.
• Troubleshoot issues and assist with process improvements.
