Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Charlotte is recruiting for a CNC Laser Technician in Charlotte, NC to support production on a Mitsubishi CNC laser cutting machine.

The 2nd shift runs 1:00 PM–10:00 PM. Training on first shift is required. Pay is $20 per hour and attention to quality and safety is emphasized.

You will read blueprints, trim parts to spec, and work with a team to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and technical drawings to confirm material, tolerances, and cutting parameters.
• Verifies quality using calipers, micrometers and other precision tools.
• Follows safety protocols and keeps work area clean.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and keep a Mitsubishi CNC laser cutting machine running smoothly.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to confirm material, tolerances, and cutting parameters.
• Verify quality with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Assist with assembly using hand tools and fabrication techniques.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot alarms and perform basic repairs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules.
