Highgate Hotels in Las Vegas is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to coordinate housekeeping functions and oversee the daily operations in assigned sections. The role requires supervising staff, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining standards across guest rooms and public areas.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2–3 years in a hotel environment, and prior supervisory experience. The position offers hourly pay and benefits as part of a full-time staff package, with a strong emphasis

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Requires bending and reaching.
• Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Requires eye/hand coordination.
• Requires use of standard cleaning equipment.
• Requires basic math.
• Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
• Ability to follow Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS).
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Effective verbal and written communication with staff and guests.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect Room Attendant’s work performance in assigned section daily.
• In absence of supervisor, inspect VIP rooms and report availability.
• Oversee closing of floors and restocking of carts.
• Maintain daily assignment records and key control.
• Handle Lost and Found per standards.
• Monitor cleanliness of carts, linen closets and access areas.
• Assign duties to Room Attendants and House Attendants.
• Carry pager/radio for communication with Front Office/Engineering.
• Report progress of out-of-order rooms to Guest Services Manager.
• Initiate work orders for repairs and follow through to completion.
• Assist with training of housekeeping staff.
• May clean rooms as needed.
• Ensure completion of cleaning projects biannually.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
