BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security Officer to join the Las Vegas Strip events team. The role focuses on maintaining safety, monitoring access, and working with event staff and law enforcement to manage security operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience in event security, law enforcement, or related field is advantageous.
• Strong physical fitness; ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent observational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities; able to work in diverse teams.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Valid security license or willingness to obtain one where required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence in accordance with client and BEST standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter incidents and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points; conduct bag checks and entry screenings.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances.
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting attendees and giving directions.
• Report security-related occurrences to supervisors or law enforcement.
• Document activities and observations for leadership review.
• Uphold company policies to maintain professionalism and security effectiveness.
