Job summary

Abbott is seeking an LAS Operations Training Specialist to prepare, facilitate, and perform training for LAS team members and equipment users. You will shadow the service team to expand knowledge, edit training materials, and file documentation, ensuring competencies are met and processes stay current.

Role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Travel up to 15% and ability to lift up to 40 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; or an Associate Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a technical trainer or related training experience.
• 2+ years of experience servicing laboratory or medical equipment.
• Experience with instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training formats.
• Strong computer skills including data/records management.
• Authorized to work in country; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, communicate, and lead technical training classes.
• Identify and adapt training style to learner needs.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness.
• Assist in creating and maintaining training materials and documentation.
• Collaborate with other trainers cross-functionally.
