Imperial Companies in Las Cruces, NM is seeking an Experienced Technician to perform daily service calls and maintenance for vending machine equipment. The role includes setting up equipment, preventative maintenance, and maintaining strong client relations.

We offer training and expect mechanical/electrical aptitude. The position requires travel to client sites, lifting, and occasional on-call shifts, including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and/or electrical background.
• Willingness to work in non-climate controlled shop environment.
• Willingness to travel to client locations to service equipment and installs.
• On-call rotation including weekends, nights, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Answer service calls.
• Setup of various vending equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Provide World Class service and maintain client relations.
• Drive company vehicle in all weather elements.
• Handle loads (100+ pounds) on/off vehicle.
• Operate hand tools and shop equipment.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Training provided; experience in maintenance, repair, refrigeration, HVAC is a plus.

Technicians are responsible for daily service calls and maintenance issues with the various Vending Machine Equipment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Answer service calls
• Setup of various vending equipment
• Preform preventative Maintenance
• Provide World Class Service helping our team and customers to improve andmaintain client relations

• Lifting and using equipment to load and unload (100+ pounds) on and off vehicle to and from clients
• Walking, Standing, Bending, Overhead reaching, Stairs, Driving
• Deductive reasoning to understand and problem solve issues with equipment
• Parts and tool inventories
• Use of hand tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, truck lift gates
• Be on time and present
• We will Train! Experience is great in the following areas: Maintenance, repair, technician, refrigeration, HVAC, etc. But again - Not necessary - We will train.
