Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Naperville, IL. You will maintain and repair the facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment with hand, power, and digital tools, supporting store operations.

You will respond to emergencies, document repairs, and ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA guidelines. A valid driver’s license, EPA refrigerant certification, and 2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal)
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, power, and digital tools.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and diagnose facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete required safety training and operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.
