The primary purpose of this position is to efficiently manage the retrieval, cutting, and preparation of aluminum extrusions and steel components for the production of shade products.

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinating with the department supervisor and product builders on material needs.
• Sending correct jobs from our internal computer system to Kasto and the saw.
• Pulling aluminum extrusions and steel components from Kasto. Extrusions can be up to 24ft long and up to 50lbs.
• Cutting and punching the extrusions for production.

Requirements

• Experience with Material Handling: Prior experience in handling and retrieving metals, especially aluminum extrusions, is a plus.
• Basic Computer Skills: Ability to learn and operate our internal computer system and machines like saws and punches.
• Machine Operation Experience: Experience operating saws, punches, or similar equipment for shaping metal components.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring correct material retrieval and precise cuts and punches as per specifications.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with supervisors and team members to ensure proper material preparation.

Salary: $16 - $17 per hour
