Job summary

Acrisure’s Large Commercial Placement Team seeks a Placement Specialist to market property and casualty programs for large market accounts. You will gather, analyze, and organize data; prepare submissions and applications, negotiate coverage terms, and prepare proposals for prospects and renewal business.

You’ll maintain timelines, communicate with the producer and Segment Leader, review policies, and prepare detailed submissions using Acord forms, loss data, and exposure schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years relevant Commercial Lines experience with emphasis on large market placements.
• Licensed in property and casualty insurance.
• Pursuit of professional designation (CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU) preferred.
• Experience with Epic strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timeline and process during new business and renewal processes, including exposure analysis, quote specs, negotiation of coverage offers, and preparation/presentation of coverage proposals.
• Communicate effectively within the team environment, including the producer and Segment Leader.
• Review insurance policies and contracts and make recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare property and casualty submissions for new business prospects and renewals, including Acord applications, loss summaries, exposure schedules, etc.
• Attend prospect and proposal meetings with producer, as needed.
• Analyze prospect client exposure and/or loss data, and develop financial models of loss sensitive programs when necessary.
